Jeremy Addington is a commercial/fine
art photographer living in Nelson. He is a graduate of York University,
Ryerson and the Art Therapy Institute. Jeremy specializes in product,
portraiture and event photography. His work has appeared in magazines
and coffee-table books, on book and CD covers and is in the collections
of the B.C. Provincial Art Collection in Victoria and the Museum
of Civilization in Ottawa. |

Kathleen McGuinness's 10 years experience
in the field of GIS along with her University of Victoria BSc in
Resource Management and GIS, her project
management knowledge, and her communication skills bring a
vast array of spatial analysis and mapping solutions to the
team.

Mike Stolte has been building businesses, organizations and communities for more than 15 years. He is currently the Community Economic Development Officer for Community Futures of Central Kootenay and co-creator of the Business Vitality Index. He is also Executive Manager of the Centre for Innovative and Entrepreneurial Leadership. www.theciel.com Mike has been an economist for the Government of Canada, business analyst & lender, a social and community entrepreneur and has taught a range of courses at several colleges. He has done research and written on innovation, management, entrepreneurship, small business and community building and is currently writing a book on community entrepreneurship. Mike has an undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario in Economics, a Masters of Public Administration from Carleton University & is on the National Co-operative Development Initiative Steering Committee. |

Sally Smith - With a BA in both English and Economics, and a certificate in Journalism, Sally lives for words. She takes pride in breaking down and disseminating facts in a fair clear and informative manner for a broad audience with varying degrees of literacy. Pamela Szabo is a self-employed Certified
Management Accountant providing top service for business. She specializes
in business start-up and assistance, accounting and taxation for
corporations and individuals. Pamela's approach is friendly and
understandable.
Wayne Schweitzer (AAT, Society of Management
Accountants of British Columbia; BC provincial Instructors Diploma
in adult education) is president of Concept Business Consulting.
This company provides mediation, commodity tax advice and forensic
auditing services to a wide range of clients including lawyers,
tax consultants and small business. His experience includes 5 years
as General Manager of the Kootenay Regional Employment Development
Association, 10 years as Program Coordinator of the Golf Club Management
and Operations program at Selkirk College.
Wayne was a guest speaker at the Asia Pacific Golf
Club Management conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 1999. He
is the recipient of Selkirk College President's award for Outstanding
and Meritorious Service, and a Merit Recognition Award for exemplary
performance.
Steve Bareham is an accomplished writer,
editor, publisher, college instructor and entrepreneur. Prior to
starting his own company, Comprehensive Communications Inc., Steve
worked with TransAlta Utilities, Simon Fraser University, and Kenway's
Canada in marketing, public and community relations and communications.
He also had stints at the Vancouver Province and Ottawa Citizen
as editor and writer. He is also a contract instructor in the Department
of Hospitality, Recreation, & Tourism at Selkirk College.
